What are the types of will writing service we provide

There are several types of wills that we assist in preparing, such as; –

1. Simple will.

A simple will does not include many clauses and is straight to the point. It is exhaustive on who will receive a particular asset and names a guardian if necessary. This type of will is suitable for a straightforward estate.

2. Joint will.

A joint will is two people’s wills in the same document. This is ideal when spouses want to be each other’s beneficiaries and their child is the final beneficiary when they both pass away. They have similar wishes.

3. Living will.

A living will is a document that spells out what you wish to happen in the event you become incapacitated, including any medical treatments you wish to receive.

4. Last Will and Testament.

A last Will and Testament is a legal document expressing how your property and assets will be distributed after your death.

5. Testamentary Trust Will.

A testamentary Trust Will is when the testator places some assets in a trust with conditions on the inheritance for the benefit of the beneficiaries and appoints a trustee to manage it. This type of will distributes and protects assets belonging to the beneficiaries and allows the assets to grow and accrue more value.

6. Holographic Will.

Holographic Wills are handwritten wills that are made under extreme or life-threatening circumstances.

8. Oral Will.

Oral will is when a testator speaks their wishes before witnesses, who lack a written record or one prepared by the Testator.

9. Pour-Over Will.

Pour-Over Wills provides more privacy and simplifies estate planning by pouring over any assets that don’t directly go to a Beneficiary into your Trust after your demise.

10. Mutual Will.

Mutual wills are usually executed by couples. After one spouse dies, the remaining spouse is bound by the terms of the mutual will, which usually ensures that property passes to the deceased’s children.

11. Digital Will.

A digital will is an inventory of all your digital property, with instructions on how to distribute and access it.

12. International Will.

An international will is a will made to take effect in more than one jurisdiction.

13. Mirror Will.

Mirror will refer to identical wills made by married couples where both partners leave their estate to the other and share the same beneficiaries as their final wishes.

14. Video Will.

A Video Will is a recording of the testator’s declaration of how they want their estate distributed.

15. Conditional (or Contingent) Will.

Conditional wills expressly provide that they shall operative only upon the happening of a particular event.

16. Nuncupative Will.

Nuncupative wills are verbal instructions about handling the deceased’s estate.

17. Reciprocal Will.

Reciprocal wills are individual, separate wills that two testators make to pass property to one another upon the other’s passing.

How to pick the right type of will?

To pick the right type of will, you must consider the amount of money you have, whether you have a business or not if you have generational property, and depending on who your intended beneficiaries are.

The most popular type of will is simple wills because they are straight to the point. They appoint an Executor and outline the distribution of the estate. Additionally, they are easier to write and to understand.
